Jewelry Showcase for your pocket- The coolest thing on display at
the JCK show this year wasn't a jewelry design or a rare gemstone,
although it was tucked away in a pocket. Stuller has a new iPhone
application, "Live Diamond Try-On," that makes it possible to shop for an
engagement ring wherever you are.
Live Diamond Try-On works like the "build a ring" tools you see on
jewelry websites , allowing you to choose an in-stock Red Box diamond and
then a Stuller setting in white or yellow gold, and then showing how the
ring looks with that size and shape diamond.
But then it goes beyond the expected into the 21st century. You can use
the camera on the iPhone to take a picture of your and and try the
engagement ring on, pinching to resize the image to fit your finger. Then
you can capture the picture of the ring on your hand and e-mail it or post
it on Facebook to see what you friends and family think.
And there's more: After you create your ring and try it on, you can
use the phone and its GPS to find the nearest retailer (Disinger Kruger
Jewelers) who carries it. You can even see the store's location on a map

My name is Amy and I am the Showroom Floor Manager at Disinger Kruger
Jewelers. I graduated from USI with a biology degree and just moved back
home. I've known Bill for about 15 years and am very excited to be working
in his family business.
My name Whitney and I am a Junior at
Forest Park High School. I am the Junior Class President. I am also on the
Student Council, National Honors Society, Sadd, and Beta. I've been a
part-time Sales Associate since July of 2007. I enjoy meeting new people

Jewelers of Huntingburg. Katherine is currently employed as a registered
nurse for Brookside village in Jasper Indiana. Katherine is very
proficient in calibrated colored gemstones and considers colored gemstones
to be a fantastic hobby.

Heather Eisenhut specializes in arrangements & gifts
and collectibles. Heather is completing her PhD in English Literature. She
is a Huntingburg native who has spent the last seven years in England. We
would like to welcome Heather to Disinger & Kruger Jewelers in
Huntingburg.
It has been a year now since Poppy was in England,
running around the green fields of Yorkshire. Poppy is not a dog who
settles for ordinary "walkies". In England she spent many of her days
charming people at Castle Howard and now she spends her time entertaining
the staff at Disinger & Kruger Jewelers. She is waiting for platinum
collar with perhaps a few diamonds designed by Bill.
